•   "My CD-ROM Catalogue does not start when I place the CD into my CD-ROM drive"

Your system may be setup with the Autorun feature disabled, you need to start the CD manually by,
Click Start --> Run and type ' D:\catalogue.html ' ,where D: is assumed to be the letter of your CD-ROM drive.
(N.B Be careful not to forget the .html part)
