Area Valve Service Units

• Housed in a steel box with a white epoxy coating the unit has a gas specific non interchangeable hinged door to prevent confusion during initial installation or at any other time, and a key operated lock for security.

• A breakable glass front to the door gives an immediate indication as to the gas type, the valve position and the gas flow. In an emergency the glass front can be broken thus allowing access to the valve.

• The valve type is a 90° shut off ball valve which is operated via a handle and each unit comes complete with a blanking plate which can be fitted to either side of the valve.

• Non interchangeable NIST connectors are fitted upstream and downstream of the valve. The NIST connectors provide the facility to purge a system before the working gas is introduced and also following any downstream interruption of the supply. The NIST connectors also allow for the pipeline pressure to be tested and provides an easily accessible point for gas sampling.

The AVSU can be installed as a flush or surface mounted unit with a variety of inlet and outlet stub pipe connections to suit any application.

Medical Gas Terminal Units

Our terminal units are designed to conform fully with BS5682 and HTM2022 standards and are manufactured with quality materials in order to provide a consistently high standard of product.

• The terminal is fitted with an integral valve allowing the removal of the housing and socket assemblies for maintenance without closing down the pipeline.
• Available in wall mounted flush or surface fitting, bedhead mounting and pendant mounting formats.
• The range covers a comprehensive selection of medical gases, individually indexed and colour coded for each gas. This prevents confusion at the time of installation and maintenance.

Lockable Line Valves

LLV range

• The locking device allows the operating lever to be locked in either the open or closed position.
• All units are supplied complete with stub pipe and union fittings with "O" ring seal ensuring leak free connection on the union.
• Available in 15mm to 108mm sizes, where the 108mm lockable valve incorporates a flanged connection due to its size.
• All units are fully inspected and tested prior to despatch.

Pressure Reducing Stations

• All units are supplied complete with stub pipe and union fittings.
• Pressure gauges are incorporated to monitor outlet pressure, with duplex units having an additional gauge to monitor inlet pressure.
• Relief valves are fitted to ensure the unit is fail safe.
• Pressure regulators can be adjusted to suit the exact requirements of the installation.
• All units are fully inspected and tested prior to despatch.
