Year 2000 Compliance
The Meditech™ 600 Nurse Call
The Nurse Call Equipment will function correctly on 1/1/2000 with the exception that the year will roll over from 1999 to the year 1900. This will have the effect that the printer log will be incorrect. The date should be updated manually to 2000. The system will then update correctly including leap years until the year 2100.

The procedure to manually update the date is

  1.   Press TECH UPDATE and the pass code 622.
  2.   Press 2 (system clock)
  3.   Enter new date 01/01/2000.
  4.   Press ENTER (key 60).
  5.   Press CANCEL.
  6.   The System will reset and then display the new date.
